Description
New Roots Herbal is one leading manufacturer and distributor of high-quality natural health products in Canada. Based in Vaudreuil-Dorion, the company is growing and looking for dynamic and motivated people. Tasks and Responsibilities
- Prepare the different mixing from the raw materials for the manufacturing (encapsulation)
- Adjust and operate the equipment for mixing powders (grinder, sifter, mixer)
- Clean rooms and equipment after each mixing operation
- Read and fill out various documents related to the preparation of raw materials
- Prepare samples for analysis at the laboratory.
- Follow quality procedures and good manufacturing practices (GMP)
- Perform various tasks related to manufacturing
Skills and Competencies
- Be meticulous and attentive to details
- Be able to perform manual tasks
- Ability to lift and move loads up to 50 pounds
- Knowledge of machinery or mechanics (an asset)
- Read and write French
- Fast-paced work environment
- Ability to work in a team
Education and Experience
- High school diploma
- We offer on-the-job training
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday 2:45 p.m. to 10:45 p.m.
- Training during day: 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- 40 hours / week
- Full-time permanent position
